Notes:
The 1886 Morgan Silver Dollar is very common in Uncirculated
condition, but surprisingly scarce as either a Prooflike or a Deep
Mirror Prooflike. The most common Uncirculated grades is MS-64, followed by
MS-62,
then MS-65. The finest examples
graded by PCGS are 3 MS-68's, 8 MS-66 Prooflikes, and
20 MS-66 Deep Mirror Prooflikes!
Proofs of this date are
scarce but not rare, and they appear on the market frequently. The
finest Proofs graded by PCGS are 4 PR-67s and 2 PRCA-66 Proof Cameos.
