Notes:
The 1883-S Morgan Silver Dollar is rather scarce in Mint State, and in Gem
condition it is extremely rare. Any Prooflike example of this date
is a real prize and Deep Mirror Prooflikes are of the highest
rarity. The most common Uncirculated grade is MS-62, followed
closely by MS-63. The finest examples
graded by PCGS are a single MS-67, a single MS-67 Prooflike, and a single MS-64 Deep Mirror
Prooflike.
