The 1881 Morgan Silver Dollar is readily obtainable in Mint State, but
Gems are slightly scarce. The most common Uncirculated grades are
MS-63 and MS-64, which enjoy nearly equal rarity. The finest examples
graded by PCGS are 2 MS-67's, 10 MS-65 Prooflikes, and 5 MS-65 Deep Mirror
Prooflikes.
Proofs of this date are
easily obtained...for a price. The finest Proofs graded by PCGS are 2 PR-68s!
