Notes:
The 1878-S is one of the more common dates in the series and it is easy to find a nice one.  The most common Uncirculated grades are MS-63 and MS-64; Gems are readily obtainable.  The finest examples graded by PCGS are a single MS-68, 2 MS-68 Prooflikes, and 3 MS-66 Deep Mirror Prooflikes.
