2000, Lot 4420, where it was described as follows: "Judd-588,
Pollock-653. Rarity-8. Nickel or silver-nickel alloy. Reeded Edge.
Population: 1, with 0 higher. Regular dies trial struck in
off-metal, possibly nickel or silver-nickel composition. Pollock was
able to trace three specimens, two of which were in the Farouk
collection (lot 1809) but graded only Extremely Fine. The other,
Dunham-Mehl Olsen, 11/44:290 may be this specimen. A great
opportunity for the Pattern collector to own a seldom-seen rarity!
(PCGS holder 1560270) May be the finest known."
