2000, Lot 591, where it was described (in part) as follows: "These
copper patterns were struck with the regular die used in 1872, and
for that reason are thought to have been coined around that time. On
the obverse, the head punch is deeply cut into the die, and the date
on the reverse slants a bit up to the right. Toned with multicolored
hues of unknown origin."
