2000, Lot 4413, where it was described as follows: "Judd-312,
Pollock-377. Copper. Plain Edge. Forerunner to the regular issue of
1864-73 except that the inscription on the scroll reads GOD OUR
TRUST. A desirable Type."

2000, Lot 4413, where part of the description included the following:
"Secretary of the Treasury Samuel P. Chase approved the
two-cent piece with the shield and arrows and the motto, IN GOD WE
TRUST after having been provided Patterns that must have included
this Judd-312 Type. Director Pollock then wrote out a draft of the
proposed sections of the law which were later passed as the Mint Act
of April 22, 1864."
