Del Bland graded AU-50.  Ex - Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc.'s "Benson Collection, Part I", February 16, 18-20, 2001, lot 482, illustrated, where it was described as follows: "Small 8, large stars, medium letters. Newcomb-2¾, Rarity-1… Faint triple profile on upper lip, double on forehead, lower lip and chin. Nearly mint state in sharpness but over stars one to three are microscopic scratches, between stars eleven and twelve is a pin scratch, at star four and on the cheek are small carbon spots and opposite the chin is a larger one showing some evidence of attempted removal. Light golden brown with traces of mint red around many reverse devices.", sold for $253.00
