illustrated, where it was described as follows: "Newcomb-9, High
Rarity-3...Medium brown with olive shades on the obverse and dark
chocolate brown on the reverse. On the face and opposite the forelock are
minor nicks and below the right base of the first A in AMERICA is a carbon
spot. With the encircling die crack as always on the obverse, with lovely
surfaces, strike and color. This splendid example will be coveted by many
collectors. Worth a premium as such. Ex: James G. Macallister 2/20/45
as "About Unc." for $8.", sold for $805.00
