Notes:
Newcomb never listed a number 2 for this year, but because his numbering system follows that of Frank Andrews, who identified earlier a possible number 2, a place has been kept open for it.  Wright and others believe that the 1826 Andrews 2 is most likely 1826 Newcomb 4.
