illustrated, where it was described as follows: "20 over 19.
Newcomb-1, Rarity-1...Dark chocolate brown with pleasing surfaces and
nearly perfectly clean. Opposite the mouth and on the chin are three tiny
unimportant nicks, over the eye is a hairline scratch and on two denticles
midway between the date and star 13 is evidence of a small carbon spot.
Actually, the overdate shows a 1 under the 2, with no evidence of the 9
under 0, but the 18 are also recut. Ex: B. Max Mehl, privately 5/4/46
at $5.", sold for $460.00
