"AU-55" (illustrated above). Ex - Superior Galleries "Pre-Long Beach Sale", June 5-7, 2000, Lot 228, where
it was described as follows: "1803 S-260 R1 AU55 Choice glossy golden tan with steel brown highpoints
and lots of mint luster in the fields. The only marks are a couple tiny rim
nicks left of the shoulder, a very light nick high on the neck, and three very
tiny rim nicks at the bottom of the reverse. LDS with clear die clashmarks on
both sides. Tied for CC#3 in the Bland census, #5 in the Noyes list. The obverse
is plated in Penny Whimsy. Comes with excellent eye appeal and a nice pedigree.
