Superior "Pre-Long Beach Sale", 06/2000:169,
where it was described as follows:
"1797 NC-2 R6 VG10 Sharpness VF20 but dark and very lightly
corroded, mostly in the left obverse field. Slightly glossy dark olive brown
with chocolate brown highpoints. MDS, the rim cud at ST in STATES strong. The
date is bold and legends all clear. Called VF20 net VG8 tied for CC#5 by Noyes,
VF25 net VG10 tied for CC#2 by Bland. (The finest known is a corroded net F15
held by the ANS.)
