S-8 R3. PCGS graded Mint State 63 Brown. Glossy steel brown with frosty golden tan faded down from mint color in protected areas, especially on the reverse. There are two small rim nicks under the lowest curls, a light nick right of Y in LIBERTY, and a thin planchet void at F-A, as struck. Otherwise this cent is choice. MDS, the bisecting reverse die crack clear but not yet strong. Sharply struck very slightly off center to K-5 on the obverse and K-2 on the reverse. A beautiful Wreath Cent. Called MS60 and CC#2 in the Breen/Bland condition census. Noyes says AU55 and tied for second finest known. The Eliasberg pedigree is noted on the PCGS grading label."
