Notes:
The 1891-CC Half Eagle is the most common Half Eagle issued by the
Carson City Mint, by far. Even Uncirculated examples of this date
are readily obtained. The most common Mint State grade is MS-62,
above which the population drops off dramatically, approaching zero at the
MS-65 level.
The finest 1891-CC Half
Eagle graded by PCGS is a single MS-65.
