Notes:
The dimes,
quarters and half dollars of this year are all similar in their scarcity
patterns. The P-mints have high mintages and are available in AU and most
mint state grades. In the case of the 1898-P half, the population stops at
MS 66 - none have been graded higher. This coin comes with a decent strike
and nice luster.
The finest Uncirculated
examples graded by PCGS are 3 MS-66's.
The finest Proof examples graded by PCGS are 12 PR-67's.
The finest Proof Cameo
example graded by PCGS is a single PR-67.
The finest Proof Deep Cameo
example graded by PCGS is a single PR-68.
