illustrated, where it was described as follows: "1840. Original.
Breen 1-A Rarity-5+. Proof 64. Brilliant original mint red with a couple
swipes of steel brown toning on both sides, at least 85% of the red
remaining. There is a tiny speck of carbon in the field over star 1 and a
larger spot of extremely light carbon between stars 12 & 13. Otherwise
this piece is an outstanding gem. Weight 83.0 grains. Ex Richard B.
Winsor, S. H. & H. Chapman 1895:1047-E. A. Maust 1920-A. Maust (son)."
