About Good-3. Ex - Superior Galleries' "Pre-Long Beach
Sale", October 1-3, 2000, Lot 1064, illustrated, sold for
$2,415.00, where it was described as
follows: "Slightly sharper with some minor porosity scattered about
both sides, strongest below the chin and bust tip. In spite of the minor
roughness, the color is a decent medium brown and the surfaces show a good
amount of gloss. The date is clear and most of the legend is readable.
LDS, Manley state 3.0 late with heavy swelling at AME. Weight 73.8 grains.
A decent example of this extremely rare sub-variety."
