Fine-12+ (illustrated above).  Ex - Superior Galleries' "Pre-Long Beach" Sale, June 5-7, 2000, Lot 48, where it was described as follows: "1795 C-1 R2 F12+ Lettered Edge Nice glossy dark chocolate brown and steel. The planchet is smooth, the only marks being a pair of very tiny rim nicks at the top of the reverse. A very attractive example for the grade. Sharply struck EDS, Manley state 1.0."
