Fine-12 (Large Edge Letters) (illustrated
above). Rick DeSanctis - Superior Galleries' "Pre-Long
Beach" Sale, June 5-7, 2000, Lot 46, where it was described as
follows: "1794 C-2b R6 F12 Large Edge Letters Sharpness VF20 but the
planchet is covered with light, uniform granularity. The only marks are a
couple very light rim nicks. Medium olive and steel brown. The date is
bold and legends all clear. While the surfaces aren't perfectly smooth,
they are free of verdigris or other crud. Rare EDS, Manley 1.0, without
any trace of clashmarks. A new discovery, CC#4."
