Significant examples:
"Choice AU" (illustrated above). Ex - Ex - Early American History Auctions, Inc.'s Mail Bid
Sale, December 9, 2000, Lot 842, where it was described as follows:
"1760 Voce Populi, Nelson 7, Choice About Uncirculated. 113.9
grains. Rarity 7 (4-12 specimens extant). Glossy brown and struck on a
broad, full planchet. Heavy clashing is noted on the reverse. This coin
kills the Taylor:2030 example that was hailed as "Possibly the finest
known example." This variety was missing from the Roper collection,
one of the more complete collections ever to be offered. A great coin for
the variety specialist.
