Recent appearances:
"Fine" (illustrated above).  Ex - Early American History Auctions, Inc.'s Mail Bid Sale, October 13, 2001, Lot 1134, illustrated, where it was described as follows: "1652 MA "Pine Tree" Shilling, Large Planchet, Noe-2, Fine    62.3 grains. In terms of color and surfaces, this is a choice piece, with original, silver-gray tones and super-glossy, chrome-like luster. However, this coin was bent in several places in the past, resulting in uneven wear patterns on both sides and a slightly wavy planchet.", unsold - Early American History Auctions, Inc.'s Mail Bid Sale, April 19, 2003, Lot 1069, illustrated

This is the straight branch variety. The edges of this one have been uniformly clipped making the planchet quite round, but the tops of most of the lettering is missing. Fully struck on the tree, although the top is slightly weak. We note minor encrustation near the centers on both sides..."
