"Very Fine, holed" (illustrated below).  Ex - Early American Numismatics, Inc., Mail Bid Sale April 21, 2001, Lot 1021, where it was described as follows: "1652 MA "Oak Tree" Shilling, Noe-9, Choice Very Fine, holed.  70.0 grains. Struck on an irregularly shaped, out-of-round planchet and holed on the upper left obverse. Surface-wise, this is a choice example for the grade, with nice, glossy surfaces. Some have claimed that this variety is a re-cutting of Noe 8, but we find that hard to believe. Yes, the placement of the letters is similar, but the tree is completely different, the O in DOM is smaller (not larger) and shaped differently, and there are enough differences to convince us that this is a completely different die pair."
