1788 MASSACHUSETTS CENT -
Ryder 2-B
 Images courtesy of Early
American History Auctions, Inc.
Recent appearances:
"Choice Extremely Fine". Ex - Early American History Auctions, Inc.'s Mail Bid Sale, August 25,
2001, Lot 1399, illustrated, where it was described as follows: "1788
MA Cent, Period after MASSACHUSETTS, Ryder 2-B, Choice Extremely Fine.
156.0 grains. Choice, medium-tan surfaces with ample gloss to excite
even the picky collector. A faint, natural lamination flaw runs
diagonally across the lower right obverse and an old, thin scratch
appears on the upper right obverse. Getting real conservative, we note
some minor rim bruises as well, none of which damage the otherwise
attractive eye appeal of this piece."
