PCGS AU-50 (illustrated above).  Ex -  Superior Stamp & Coin's "Pre-Long Beach Sale", June 5-7, 2000, Lot 5, where it was described as follows:  "(1672-1694) London Elephant Token With Diagonals in Shield Breen-185 Peck-501 PCGS AU-50. Fairly glossy chocolate brown. There are some light rim bumps around the obverse, the most notable one just over the tips of the tusks. The diagonals in the center of the shield are slightly weak but can be seen without the aid of a glass. A very rare type of this popular token given a separate listing in the 'Redbook'."
