"VF-25" (illustrated above). Ex - Superior Galleries' "Pre-Long Beach Coin
Sale", May 27-29, 2001, Lot 1021, plated, where it was described as
follows: "1788 Connecticut Miller 13-A.1 Rarity-5 VF25. CONNLC
variety. Glossy chocolate brown with bluish light steel brown toning on
the highpoints. There is a thin planchet fissure on the shoulder and
another over the date, neither serious. The only notable contact mark is a
small nick in the field midway between the chin and A in AUCTORI. The
reverse is misaligned slightly to K-12 and rotated 150 degrees CCW. Weight
140.2 grains."
