Sale", May 27-29, 2001, Lot 1019, plated, where it was described as
follows: "1787 Connecticut Maris 18-g.1 Rarity-6 VF25. Choice glossy
chocolate brown with medium brown highpoints. Free of contact marks. The
only defects are a couple tiny planchet fissures at the rim above the head
and opposing area under the final digit in the date, as struck. Otherwise
this piece would deserve an overall choice rating. Both sides nicely
centered. Weight 141.8 grains."
