Rarity: Extremely Rare

Variety nickname: Mailed Bust Left

This was the only use of the obverse die.  From the same master hub as 1785 Miller 7.1-D but strengthened by hand, resulting in difference in the breast plate on the obverse bust.

The reverse die of this variety was also used on:
1785 Miller 4.3-D 
1785 Miller 4.4-D 
1785 Miller 7.1-D 
1785 Miller 8-D
