Significant examples:
PCGS Proof-65 (illustrated above).  Ex - Superior Galleries' "Pre-Long Beach Sale", October 1-3, 2000, Lot 4419, where it was described as follows:  "Judd-1695, Pollock-1897. Aluminum. Plain Edge. Similar to the regular dies for 1882 but without a ball under the point of the shield above date. Same as the regular reverse used from 1867 to 1883, 5 in a circle of stars. Very rare in aluminum. Ex Harry W. Bass, Jr. collection."
