Notes:
The 1888-S Morgan Silver Dollar is somewhat scarce in Uncirculated condition
and Gems can present quite a challenge. Prooflikes and Deep
Mirror Prooflikes are also scarce and Gems of either variety are
both elusive and expensive. The most
"common" Uncirculated grade is MS-63, followed by MS-64 and MS-62, in that order.
The finest examples
certified by PCGS are 2 MS-67's, a single MS-66 Prooflike, and 4 MS-65 Deep
Mirror Prooflikes.
